Todays trip was with Scott. he Took advantage of an open seat on ReelCrazy and we got into fish..

With the NE blow all week I didnt make it out to scout the spots. So with a livewell full of bunkers and about 30 more in the cooler for back up we hit the water. We were lucky enough to find action at our first spot. At first we hit a couple of blues then were started to hit some bass. The blues were good size from 7 to 12 pounds but the bass were bigger. Each drift provided some sort of action. We ended up with 8 bass from 34-42 inches. Most of them had sealice on them. and boated about 8 blues and many bluefish bite offs. We also had a very big bonus for the morning. Scott caught a 12 pound weakfish on a livelined bunker. We both thought it was a very large bass the way in fought. When It came up on the side of the boat I almost didnt believe what I was seeing.

I drifted by captain Mike of sunbum charters and it looked like he was having some good action of his own. At the turn of the tide the bite shut off. we waited it out but the incoming didnt produce any fish. so we headed in.

It was another great day on the water and great Connecticut Charter fishing!!!!
