Hog walleyes still biting on Lake Winnipeg
<p>Its been a fabulous month on Lake Winnipeg. Plenty of walleyes and a good number in the 10+ lb range. Its been primarily a morning bite with a few big ones being caught in the mid afternoon. Larger more aggressive lures are taking the big ones right now.
We had a bit of a blizzard yesterday, so travel was tough today, but should be fine by the weekend.

The 2007 fall walleye run was another huge success with a number of trophies topping the 10 pound mark. Anglers can target trophies or even go for some fast action on smaller fish, if so desired. Our winter season has produced walleyes over 15lbs and we're not done yet!
