The last week on Guntersville has really shown signs of summer patterns. The fish are starting to move out deeper and group up. Somedays we would get on deeper crankbait fish and have doubles and triples every cast for fifteen to twenty minutes. The shallow fishing is getting good as the bream are bedding and the bass are ambushing them. The best depths have been 2-5ft along grass edges and in 8-14ft on the deeper ledges. Most days we are catching 30-35 with some days 50-60 most being 2-3 lbs with a couple 4-5 lbs. I fished a team tournament on Sunday with my dad. We came in 4th out of 35 boats with 18.94 with big fish of 6.70 The best baits have been the Strike King Series 5, Premier Plus Spinnerbait, Rage Craw, Iguana, and Spit N King. I have June 2nd,5th,7th-9th,16th,20th-24th,26th,28th, and 30th. The fishing will only get better the next month.
