Hot Winter Action
<p>The fishing on Guntersville the last few weeks has been some of the best action all year. Daily catches have been 25-40 fish each day and the average is 2-3 lbs with fish over 5 lbs almost every trip. The fish are using all depths of water right now. You can fish grass edges in 4-6ft, the shallower creek channels in 8-12ft, and can catch fish out on the deeper stuff in 15-20 ft. The main key right now is to be around the bait. If your not seeing bait on your electronics your not catching fish. The best baits have been the Strike King Red Eye Shad, Wild Shiner, KVD 1.5, and of course the A-rig. This winter should be some of the best fishing there has been all year. I am offering discounted 6 hr trips this winter. I also have some Christmas Gift Certificates available for gifts.
