Most folks up here in the north country have been focused on the hunting season. I haven't seen any huge monster bucks just yet, but I'll still get in a few days with my bow and arrows before winter sets in. A buddy of mine did harvest a nice 200 plus pound brute with a 10 point rack. The pheasant season has been going gangbusters in the Dakotas and the farm country here in Minnesota. We've been chasing roosters quite a bit this fall. We had one of those bad shooting days this week.

Lots of decent chances, I'm sure our dogs were wondering what was wrong with us. I guess we left a few for next year. Soon enough we will be getting ready for the ice fishing season. Within a few weeks we should have some ice and I will keep you posted daily on the developments. As always we will have the freshest bait in the area and the best selection ice fishing tackle in this part of the state. We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.
