I did two three day trips to Jozini during April.

On the 1st trip the water was turbid but not to bad, we got most of our fish in the river section on Top Water and whilst we landed quite a few fish in the 1-1.5Kg area and many smaller ones, we lost a huge amount of fish as nearly all the fish we hooked up ran straight for the boat and then under, twice I hooked into fish of over 5Kg but lost them, 1 in the Gorge on Drop Shot and 1 in the River on Top Water.

On the second trip we only fished the South bank of the entrance to the main dam from the river section as the rest of the dam was chocolate, we also landed a lot of fish in the 1-1.5Kg range and a lot of rats, I also managed to land 1 pig and a double hook up.

On the last day of trip 1 we got a real treat when we were able to watch 2 different Osprey eagles catching a tiger fish, there was a lot of game to be seen on these 2 trips and we saw elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhino, wildebeest, crocodiles, buck and birds and so much more
