July has been very good to trollers fishing Eastern Lake Ontario. Salmon and trout are showing up in Mexico Bay in decent numbers. Spoons and flasher/fly combos are doing the trick run off riggers, dipsies and copper. 90-130fow run 80-100' down. It's been quite the mixed bag of salmon, steelhead, lake and brown trout. There's been plenty of bait around and the bait in their bellies has been a mix of big alewifes and smelt.
