Kabetogama/Namakan Fishing Report 11/3/08

What a Great week, lots of indian summer. Lots of quality walleye fishing, many happy anglers.

Anglers had to occasionally dodge the wind in order to get boat control, but it paid off more often than not.

Nearly any shoreline near deep water provided action, best depths ranged from 30' all the way down to 48'.

Jig and minnow, the ole standard was the best offering, white or another light color provided the most hits.

Martin Islands, Graves Island, Blind Ash Bay are just a few of the ideal locations to try.

Northern pike bite is slow as is crappie action, so take advantage of the late season walleye bite.

Grouse hunting continues to improve as cover diminishes, and have the deer ever started to move near the roadways. Watch out and good luck to all sportsmen next week.

Hope to see you Soon,

Phil and Ellen Hart
