key west fishing report 1/21-1/28

Key west fishing this week was up and down with 2 cold fronts passing through. The early part of the week the water temp was in the low 60's the only fish that are comfortable in these conditions are Barracuda, redfish and jacks. My clients caught plenty of redfish and jacks and missed several barracudas. The middle part of the week warmed up enough for the fish to feel a little more comfortable we caught permit, redfish, jacks, pompanos, sharks, bluefish, snappers, and ladyfish. If you have a chance come on down and do a little fishing in the backcountry off key west.
