Bait, bait and more bait. There is bait everywhere and we are catching some real healthy fish!

The brown trout continue to be active with the early morning bite. Good fishing has been in front of the Nine Mile buoy line. Look for the trout in 50-100 ft. of water there. Also look for the browns off the Catfish Creek area and Mexico Bay.

Bonus rainbows and large Atlantic salmon are complimenting our catch each day.

The king salmon are roaming in the deeper water constantly on the move. I predict we will begin to see their presence in the eastern basin within the next week or so.

Now is the time to schedule a lake charter. The fishing is excellent and area charter captains are available for lake charters. Take the kids fishing, it will be a quality experience that they will not forget.

This is Captain Troy Creasy See you on the water, and God Bless.
