Fishing is still excellent on Lake Texoma with fish being caught using several different methods. Top-waters are producing very well. Chug Bugs, Pencil Poppers, Near Nuthin type lures, and Blue Strippers are all producing fish.

Make sure the back hook has a tail, as that is what is imitating the small threadfin fry the fish are feeding on. Down-rigging with double jigs and vertical spooning are also producing fish.

Fishing with live shad is also productive, if you can find the shad.
