Line side fishing is Good. Guys fishing remains good but the fish are on the move. The bite that was so strong at Bartow Carver Beach last week has really slow down. The bait is on the move and so are the fish. I have caught fish as far north as Victory Landing and as far south as Tanyard Creek. The fish on the north end are deep 35-55 feet deep. These fish are eating smaller baits better then big baits. The southend of the lake is different story. These fish are feeding up in the water column and will take a big bait. The big fish are starting to show up. I have had reports of two 22 lb fish and a 18 lb fish caught on the north end this week. And the funny part of this is they where caught by crappie fishermen. Like I said earlier the fish on the north end are eating small.

Trolling has really slowed down this week. The lake is cover with trash right now and has a stain to it. Look for the trolling bite to pick up by the first of the week. As the lake starts to clear up.

Guys now that Carters Lake is open. We are now booking trip to Carters for the Months of March and April. Even thou I guide Allatoona 95% of the time. I know Carters Lake as well as anyone. My clients have held two lake records there in the past two years. Give me a call and lets make it Three...
