With only a few weeks left until the first week of March, trophy bass anglers should make plans now to prepare for a really good chance at catching that bass of life time. Maybe one exceeding ten pounds!

Of course while fishing with Reeds Guide Service, Guntersville lake's oldest, professional -- bass fishing only -- guide service, for over 40 years.

Although we fooled a few big bass in mid winter, including a nine and ten pounder caught in water temperatures of 47 degrees in January of last year, March was really the trophy prespawn bass month on Alabama's massive Guntersville lake.

A lake I have guided on for over 40 years.

As owner of Reeds Guide Service I saw clients of my guide service fool countless bass weighing from 5-8 pounds. Oh, but that was not all.

In March alone I netted 4 bass weighing nine plus pounds. Two ten pounders and one monster a lady caught weighing 11 pounds! (See pictures link at www.fishingalabama.com)

With March only about two weeks away, I am booking fast for spring for Guntersville lake and any other lake in Alabama. I guide on all of them.

Maybe your picture will be posted next!

Even for the month of February we have seen warmer water temperatures than in the last three years! The water temp was close to 60 degrees just last week!

So you can count on it being a good spring spawn soon...on all Alabama's Lakes! Make plans now! To go fishing (and catching) with the oldest professional guide service in Alabama.

Call or e-mail me to book your trip today! Go to my website www.fishingalabama.com for more info!

Thanks and Good Fishin'
