Fishing has been great when the wind lays down. Lighthouse cove has produced some nice stringers. The best bait has been a Paridise Popper by Bomber with 18" leader with Gulp shrimp 4" new penny underneath it. The birds are starting to work in the lake. Action has great been on the south end. The fish are chasing ribbion fish and shrimp. The best action has come form the north end of Sabine Lake with some heavy weight trout coming from there. The best bait has been the bone color badonka-donk by bomber. The best action has come early in the morining. The fish are keyed in on mullet. The later the day get the fish switch to Glow/Chart samuria shad with 1/4 oz jig head.
