Being in the right spot, is never so right, when you are fishing this time of the year out of Venice. We had two boats out last night and one was on FIRE and the other one was ICE COLD.

Capt. Kevin, Capt. JW Berry and Seth went out to the East on the 55' STRIKE ZONE TOO with a group from New Orleans for a 24hr trip. After finding blue water it was ON. 12 Yellowfin , 4 Bull Dolphin, 2 Wahoo, ???Blackfin and 1 Marlin ON/OFF.

Three of our other captains on the 39' STRESS MANAGEMENT(I want mention their names...they fell like S----) picked up a group out of Grand Isle that were in a tournament for a 24 hr trip. They went to Mars and her first cousin Ursa ...They tried everything short of dynamite and NOT~A...They did manage to catch the first place Barracuda. That was a lot of TIME,WORK and FUEL for that first place Barracuda..That could be the most expensive Barracuda ever caught.

Capt. Kevin and his crew got back to the dock at 10:00am this morning. After cleaning the boat and the catch he will be back out with his new crew at 3:00pm for a 48 hr trip. Capt. Charlie Durand jumped on board as the fresh captain and pointed the boat west to Green Canyon. Kevin and Seth jumped into their bunks and they will come alive tomorrow morning in the CANYON. I will give you a update Sunday on this weekend, as all of the boats are coming off 24+hr trips.

We still have the 39' sportfishing yacht open for the Grand Isle or Faux Pas rodeo in two weeks.
