Fished Chris and Derek from Lauderdale Thursday night from 7pm to 11pm.

Chris hadn't caught a Tarpon in many years and Derek had yet to land one.

We spent the first hour farting around looking for bait and catching Jacks, The bait never happened.

With the sun setting I ran to The River where they would be arriving to feed in the dark, strong ourgoing tide.

Armed with only light tackle we began pitching black grub tails into the moonless water. (moon rose at 11pm)

afirst cast yields Chris a jumper which is quick to throw the hook. Fishing from 9pm to 10:15 yield 5 jumped and two boated. We hit some dock Snook with lazy follows and no hook ups.

I hate reviving Tarpon at night with gators around. I always feel like my hand is ringing the dinner bell! sorry one pic didn't come out too good.

Bio: A typical day out on the water, is never so typical. We start out with a leisurely ride through the backcountry in Mangrove lined channels. I almost always see MANATEE, usually see big ALLIGATORS and don\'t be surprised to see a BALD EAGLE or two! The water is golden brown, typically too dark to see through until we start stalking fish in the shallows. Almost immediately, bait will be jumping, tarpon will be rolling and gulping air and snook will be \"Popping\" the surface catching bait. I call my fishing experience unique. I do however understand the urge for fresh fish, and if you want it fresh, I\'ll get it for you! I have found a reliable, fun and action packed way to catch some of the most sought after game fish and I am anxious to share it with you. In as little as 4 hours we can catch Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Shark, Jack, Grouper, Sheepshead and more!
