The water conditions on the Lagoon are still extremly higher than usual allowing game fish to find new oppotunities to feed. Hopefully the water levels will reside with in the next few weeks and bring the Lagoon back to normal Fall conditions. Plugs, spoons and soft plastics have been the go to baits with the higher water. Focus on the shorlines early with the plugs and as the sun gets a little higher target the bait pods with the spoons and soft plastics. The tarpon and snook are still hanging around as well along with the bull reds are still holding in the inlets.
