Today I spent the day on the upper part of the river fishing steelhead with Greg from NJ it was steady action all day. We fought and landed double digits today.

The snow is getting deeper so Greg decided to jump in the drift boat to make his fishing trip a little easier. We fish egg sacs, beads, and pink worms today. The best bait was blue egg sacs fished close to the bottom.

We use light action 10' rods and light line to fight and land these fish.

Ice fishing in the area has picked up over the last few days some of the better spots are Sandy Pond, Henderson Harbor and Chaumont Bay.
