West Matagorda
Had the pleasure of fishing with Jason and Chad of www.stinkypantsfishing.com on 6/23. Started out in West Matty throwing topwaters with steady blowups and lots of small Reds and Trout with a few keepers in the mix. Once the sun got up around 9 the topwater bite come to a stop like a switch was turned off and the action came to a stop. After the bite stopped on the flats we waded the deeper guts where Jason and Chad picked up their limits of Reds to 28 inches and 14 trout to 22 inches and a keeper black drum that was caught on a silver spoon. Had a great time and look forward to fishing with these guys again. These guys make some very nice stringers for those of you who wade fish. Check out their site at www.stinkypantsfishing.com
