Alan Beneroff

Sorry for the late post.

Hosted the Robert Trenery and friends Charter for a Striper Liveline trip on Friday 5/28. Sailing from our transient home at Clarks Landing, we broke the inlet and went searching for bait which like Thursday was scarce. Especially with the Bunker Boats working the area. It took almost 2 hours to get enough for us to fish with outside Shark River Inlet.

With the livewell loaded, we patiently worked over the same area and had a steady pick of 9 Stripers up to 37#. With one of the group suffering a case of Mal de Mar and extremely happy with the nine in the box, we left them biting and headed in early for the barn.

Our Avet outfits got yet another workout tangling with these fish.

Dom did a great job in the cockpit again today.
