The lake is 170.6 ft msl, (high pool is 172ft). SRA has both generators running from 12pm to 7pm. Water temp is running in the mid to upper 80s.
The water clarity is stained on the very north end and running clear as you go south. The hyacinth is still causing some problems along the shoreline and in the back of the coves and pockets. (Read more)

White Bass Fishing On Road Runners and Rattle Traps

The fishing is starting to bust wide open. We've been fishing mostly for White Bass in the river and waiting for the main lake to settle down from all the fresh water and cold temperatures. Last week we were catching a lot of Whites in the flooded sloughs on Road Runners and Rattle traps but the river started falling fast and moved them into the river proper. (Read more)

The rising water has slowed the Crappie fishing down but the lake is
clearing fast since no water is being released and once things settle
down, the bite should pick up. Prior to the rise, there is no telling
how many Crappie were put into ice chests the past two months (Read more)
