With the wind blowing and the water being muddy, fishing has been tough. The best bite has been for redfish in the marsh and along the shoreline. Pumpkin seed Gulp! swimming minnow have taken the majority of the fish. I had a party out last week and caught a couple on topwater also. The smaller the topwater the better. Bone was the best color. The trout bite has been hit or miss at best. Caught a couple of keepers in Keith Lake cut, and went back the next day and didnt get a bite. The reef is producing some trout but the wind and the muddy water have turned the lake in to a nightmare. Flounder fishing is turing on. Had a party out and end up with 6 Texas keepers and numerous throw backs. As soon a the wind and the water settle out fishing should turn. I look for the bite to be RED HOT for redfish at the jetties as soon a the weather allows.
