23/6/08 I start this weeks report with a back date on the

22/6/08 there was a fine catch by WWW.Kbfishingireland.com Kevin's son Gareth caught a fine 7lbs Specimen Sea Trout and finished the day off with a fine 13lbs Salmon on the Commeragh. Now back to the present there was two grilse caught on the troll by Mr Richard Nugent and Mr Robert Smith, fishing with their gillie Mr Neil O'Shea and @ WWW.Oshealoughcurrane.com and in the Sea trout department I read on WWW.Loughcurrane.com that Mr Barry Vaughn caught two Sea trout in the 3lbs class. Wind SSW light to fresh and overcast and warm, max air temperature 17.1C/62.78F. Amount of rainfall in past 24 hours 0.7mm.

24/6/08 It was a wild day with a strong SSE wind blowing with light rain and at times heavy until about 1.30pm and made another small flood, amount of rainfall 14.4mm . A few boats did venture out and all drew a blank but at least the Famous Butler Pool and @ WWW.Watervillegolflinks.ie did produce one Grilse caught on the fly. Max air temperature 17.3C/65.14F.

25/6/08 The Waterville system was in good form today and I will start with the Commeragh where Mr Mel Smith was in good form with two Grilse to his rod with his Gillie Mr Kevin Brain and of WWW.kbfishingirteland.com and on Lough Currane Mr Richard Nugent and Mr Robert Smith with their gillie Mr Neil O'Shea and WWW.Oshealoughcurrane.com caught two Grilse on the troll, next in the striking zone was Mr Marcus Cruse who caught a fine 8lbs Salmon on the fly with his gillie Mr Mike Dwyer and last but not least I read on WWW.Loughcurrane.com that Mr Anthony Buckley caught a grilse. Wind WNW fresh to strong and overcast, amount of rainfall 1.2mm, max air temperature 16.8C/62.24F.

26/6/08 There was a strong SW wind blowing with heavy rain all morning and it made a very good flood and I can tell you my noble game fish have plenty of liquid refreshment and as Mr Richard Nugent and Mr Robert Smith proved in the last few days, if you are out there, you will catch the old gentlemen and as they did again today when they caught two salmon on the troll weighing in at 7.5lbs and 8.5lbs with their Gillie Mr Neil O'Shea of WWW.Oshaloucurrane.com and in the Sea trout department Mr Michael Murphy fishing out WWW.Lakelandshouse.com caught a fine 7lbs specimen Sea Trout. Now to the evening shift on the Commeragh where Master Adam O'Dwyer of Waterville is following in his Fathers foot steps, because he caught a fine 8lbs Salmon, I think there is a young Gillie in the making and last but not least Mr Anthony Buckley also landed a 8lbs Salmon.

27/6/08 there was a fine salmon caught by Mr Kruse with his gillie Mr Mike O'Dwyer, also in good form was Rudolf of Germany who caught a 7lbs salmon on the troll with his gillie Mr Bob Priestly. In the Sea Trout department Mr Richard Nugent and Mr Robert Smith caught two fine Sea Trout all in the 5lbs class. Wind SSW fresh to strong at times with heavy rain early this morning and there was another good flood coming down the Commeragh, amount of rainfall 7.3mm, max air temperature 16.6C/61.88F. 28/6/08 The upper lakes came in to their own today I will begin with Lough Derriana where Mr John Buckley caught a Sea Trout of 5lbs and on Lough Na Mona a Guest caught one Salmon and two Sea Trout with his Gillie Mr John Quinlan of WWW.Thatchcottageireland.co.uk and just across from Na Mona on Lough Cloonaghlin Mr Clive Halnan and party caught a Grilse and a number of Brown Trout, now to the Big Lake/Lough Currane Where our Manger Mr john Murphy caught himself a fine 5lbs Sea Trout, there were a few more Sea trout taken by other anglers in the 2to 3lbs class. Wind SSW light to fresh and overcast with very low cloud and humid, max air temperature 17.1C/62.78F. Amount of rainfall 0.2mm

29/6/08 Waterville Fishery was on the quiet side after yesterdays action, Mr Neil O'Shea of WWW.Oshealoughcurrane.com and his guest caught one Grilse and on the Sea Trout front, Master Adam O'Dwyer was in good form again, with two Sea Trout in the 3lbs class. Wind SW fresh to strong at times with good cloud cover and the odd light shower, amount of rainfall 0.3mm, max air temperature 16.6C/61.88F. This months amount of rainfall up until the 29/6/08 was 124.1mm/4.88582. That is all the news from your gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No spin No Fly's just Facts.
