15/9/08 Catch of the day goes to Dr Rudolf Schweissthal of Germany, who caught a fine Salmon on Lough Currane with his Gillie Mr Dominic Mc Gillicudy, then they went down stream to the Famous Butler Pool and @ WWW.Watervillegolflinks.ie and added another Salmon to their basket, on the Sea Trout front, Brian fishing out from the Bog caught four fine Sea trout of which the biggest weighed in at 4lbs. Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover. Max air temperature 16C/60.8F. 16/9/08 Mr Tommy Duggan was in good form with two C&R Salmon on the River Inny, with his Gillie Mr Mike O'Dwyer, and staying in the Salmon department a Guest caught A Grilse with his Gillie Mr Tom O'Shea and of WWW.Oshealoughcurrane.com and I see on WWW.Loughcurrane.com the Maestro Mr Brod O'Sullivan and his guest caught a fine Salmon on the Butler Pool, Now I will go back up steam to Lough Currane where Mr John Curnew caught a Grilse and on the Sea trout front, Mr John Holstead caught seven Sea Trout up to 2lbs but Sea trout of the day goes to Mr Toby Mushler of Caherdaniel Garden Centre, caught a fine Specimen Sea Trout of 6.5lbs and just for the record that is his second in 2008.Max air temperature 16.5C/61.7F. 17/9/08 Lough Currane's 2008 C&R Champion Angler Mr John Holstead and his good friend Ken caught eight Sea Trout of which the biggest weighed in at just over 7lbs and in the Salmon department Dr Jim Comerford caught a Salmon on the troll, and a guest caught a Grilse with his Gillie Mr frank Donnelly of Lakelands. Max air temperature 16.1C/60.98F. 18/9/08 On the Salmon front, A guest caught two Grilse with his Gillie Mr Frank Donnelly and of WWW.Lakelandshouse.com and on the famous Butler Pool the Prince caught a grilse with his Gillie Mr Vincent O'Sullivan of WWW.Vincentsfishing.com and in the poaching department I was reading on WWW.Loughcurrane.com our Manger Mr John Murphy is reporting that Anglers were catching Sea Trout up to 5lbs, I was reading the fishing log book @ WWW.Lakelandshouse.com and I see Mr Rene Lachemeir and his good friend Jacky caught Fifteen Sea Trout and their biggest weighed in at 4lbs. Wind SW light with reasonable cloud cover, amount of rainfall 0.1mm, max air temperature 17.6C/63.68F. 20/9/08 guests fishing with their Gillie Mr Mike O'Dwyer, caught a grilse on the Butler pool then moved upstream to Copal Lake and added a 3lbs Sea Trout to their basket, now we go downstream back to Lough Currane, where Mr Mick Martin caught a Grilse at the ledge, with his Gillie Mr Dominic Mc Gillicudy and Dominic was telling me in the Lobster Bar that they also caught three Sea Trout in the last two days, now I will leave the Lobster and head back out to Lough Currane because the Prince was in good form again with one Salmon on the fly with his Gillie Mr Vincent O'Sullivan and of WWW.Vincentsfishing.com. I was reading on WWW.Loughcurrane.com Our Manger Mr John Murphy was reporting that there was another Salmon caught by a guest.
