Amount of rainfall 0.3mm, max air temperature 12.1c. 4/5/10 There was a Salmon grilse caught on the troll by Mr. Heinz Strappmen of Germany, Heinz is fishing out of www.Lakelandshouse.com On the weather front the same as yesterday, max air temperature 12.9c. 5/5/10 All quiet on the SW front. Wind the same as it has been all week the only difference today was much more overcast with light misty rain, max air temperature 13.7c. 6/5/10 All quiet on the SW front. Wind NE fresh with reasonable cloud cover, amount of rainfall 0.4mm, max air temperature 15.3c. This evening Dr. Willie Roach of www.cfb.ie gave a presentation on the Celtic Seatrout, at the Waterville Inn, which I might add was very educational, and to learn more go to www.Celticseatrout.com 7/5/10 There was some good action at the Ledge in the Mouth of the Commeragh with Mr. Dave Ecclestone of the UK catching two fine Salmon on the fly with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O'Sullivan and of www.Vincentsfishing.com and in the trolling department Mr. Denis McCarthy and Mr. Keith Elany fishing in a hired out boat from Waterville Boats and @ Watervilleboats@gmail.com caught two fine Brown Trout in the 3lbs class and a fine Seatrout around 1.5lbs and 10 smaller trout which I might add were all carefully put back to fight another day. Wind NE light with reasonable cloud cover, max air temperature 14.8c. 8/5/10 There was a 9lbs Salmon caught on the troll by Mr. Dan Sugrue of Tralee, with his gillie Mr. Brod O'Sullivan of Stella Maris Guesthouse Waterville. Wind ENE light to fresh. With reasonable cloud cover, max air temperature 15.3c. 9/5/10 There was some great action on Irelands Premier Seatrout Lake today, yes you have it, the record Seatrout was broken to day, when a 12lbs 13.57oz Seatrout was caught on the troll out at the Black Rocks on a Perch Rapala, by Mr. Liam Ellis of Cork, and if you want to know what the old record was, go to www.irish-trophy-fish.com and download my Noble Seatrout and in the Salmon department, Mr. Baller of the UK and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com caught a fine Salmon on the troll with his Gillie Mr. Neil O'Shea and of www.Oshealoughcurrane.com Wind E light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover at times, max air temperature 14.4c.
