17/1/09 Great to be back reporting to you all on the No Spin no Fly's just Facts zone and today's Facts are, Lough Currane was at a stand still with storm force SW gales blowing and on the Butler Pool front one angler was fishing hard, but my noble gentlemen the salmon gave him a Harvey Smith and by end of his day I am sure the feeling was mutual as it was with all we Anglers as we headed for the lobster Bar for the traditional Bacon and Cabbage and a good party was had by all. Amount of rainfall 27.1mm, max air temperature 10.c.18/1/09 A calmer day today even though the wind was gusting violently at times but at least one could fish along the North Shore and the ones that did drew a blank. Amount of rainfall 13.mm, max air temperature 8.6C next report on 26/1/08 unless my noble Salmon is caught in the meantime. That is all the news from your gillie and the Waterville fishery.
