2/2/09 Not a lot to be said on the Salmon front, but Lough Currane Is a cold place to be at the moment with a strong NE wind blowing down Lake and all we need is some of that snow to brighten things up and when that reel eventually goes off, cold or not, all will be forgiven. Max air temperature 3.6c. 3/2/09 Well we got some of that snow, it's a pity we can't say the same about the salmon. Wind NNE light and very cold, amount of rainfall 1.9mm.max air temperature 4.5c. 4/2/09 the same story as yesterday, except for the snow, need I say more. Wind NE then veered E this afternoon. Amount of rainfall 0.2mm, max air temperature 6.1c. 5/2/09 Another bitterly cold day on Lough Currane and fair play to the anglers who stood up to the elements and there was a few of them out there, but alas they drew blank. Wind ENE and veered ESE at times, and fresh to strong at times. Amount of rainfall 1.5mm, max air temperature 5.0c. 6/2/09 nice few boats out, but their bates failed to locate my noble Salmon. Wind NNE light with bright sunshine with the odd shower, amount of rainfall 0,8mm,max air temperature 7c. 7/2/09 Flat calm and what wind was there was NNE, need I say more, I wished I could.
