Salmon River Fishing Report 4/3/11

Steelhead fishing continues to good be most days but other days we struggle.

We fish different spots and different techniques about everyday. Floats, plugs, flies, deep holes, gravel, fast pockets. What a pleasure to fish this time of year, but you need to be in the right place at the right time.

For us, eggs sacs in pink and white have been number 1. Beads in tangerine, glo row and pink are #2 worms have been #3.

Fish everything! The heads, tails, gravel, slow water, you never know where you will find a dropback, fresh fish or a brown. You have to cover it all.
