The fishing on the Salmon river has been very good over the past couple weeks. With cold temps over the past week the fishing remains good. The most fishable water is in the upper part of the river, which translates into the most fishing pressure. Even with the big snow storm on Saturday many anglers where able to get out on the river.

Fishing in the barrel, schoolhouse, lower wire, and ellis cove areas has been producing some nice steelhead. Most of the fish are being caught on egg sacs and beads under floats. Bottom bouncing has been very good also.

Plugging has been hot and cold, one day they eat every plug and the next they turn up their nose at your offering.

We have plenty of open dates so give us a call to get in on the action, and don't forget to book your lake date soon for the best dates
