Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers Fishing Report

Warm weather ahead of the next front is producing some great fishing.

In my last report I stated that this time of year is great for artificial bait.

2 days ago was just that!

5 Snook, 4 Redfish, 5 trout, all on top water plugs.

There is nothing like casting and working a that top water plug to see the explosion when a great fish hits.

I find it so addicting to keep casting for another Big Hit.

This week the Sanibel area has another cold front coming Tues.

I will be out after it passes to cast again to fish, laying in wait of my lure.

See ya on the water!
