The fishing here lately has been pretty good for us. The a-rig has been playing a big factor on the schooling fish. Some of these schools you just never know what you are going to catch. We are catching bass, stripper, crappie, yellow bass , cat fish, drum and have had some skip jack. You know you are in the right area and doing the right thing when you are catching everything in the lake. Even with the high winds and this extreme cold front we have still been catching and seeing them school up.

Just before the cold front the frog bite was doing pretty good along with a single swim bait. We were also catching some on a rattle trap, buzzbait and flipping but since this front moved in the grass bite has been tough. We fished grass for about 3 hours and only caught 1 and moved deep and had a limit pretty quick. The key right now is to find the bait and when you do it's just a matter of time.

Christmas is just around the corner and finding gifts can be hard some time, I am now selling gift certificates which make great stocking stuffers so call or email to get yours today.
