George Curtis saw one roll in the lower stretches and tried to get him to take but had no luck. Black Brook said they seen a few rolling around the same time. So with some signs of fish being seen and awaiting for the first big run to start keeps us all very impatient for there arrival. But we go through this just about every year wanting for them to be here earlier. And just when you think there not going to arrive , Yes you no the answer There here and there taking the green machine.

The water is at good level and the temperature around 65F, And very clear. We should start seeing some bigger runs very soon.

There are very good catch reports of Shad being hooked above the mouth of Cains river, And also below the Upper Blackville bridge. There was alot of trout hooked on the Cains River over the weekend with some being in the 1lb to 3lb range. Also some nice trout hooked in the Blissfield area by Evan Gilks in the 1lb to 3lb range. I am still awaiting for some pictures of the trout that I will have posted as soon as I get them.
