Started out the day drifting off Breezy Pt.......clams and Peanuts.....nodda....short over to between the channels.....a couple blues no bass......slide down to the Pipe and a couple holes by the Highlands bridge, reading fish no takers.
Slipped down to the Rocks and the SW edge of the SH Reef boated some nice porgies and Sea Bass.....
Fisnished up trolling from the Highlands Bridge to north beach.....zippo.
Came into the bay had birds working off Officers row......again Lock jaw...all in all a great day on the water with some good guys, even though the fish did not cooperate.
Hopeflly the weather will get to where it should be so we can have a Fall/Winter run??????
Talked to several other Capt's pretty much the same from Monmouth Beach north. But they bailed on the Blues off Asbury, guess I should have went south instead of north......
