Spring is typically my favorite time of the year. The abundance of fish is phenomenal. On any given day you can find fish offshore such as Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Snapper, Grouper. Inshore you have Tarpon, and Snook. Anything is possible in the spring. This week we decided to start leaning more to the Mahi-Mahi action offshore. And it has been paying off. Seems that the Mahi-Mahi are starting to show up early this year. Reports at the dock have had fish as big as 40 lbs this week. For those looking for Sailfish the action has been best early in the morning and late in the day. On the reefs at night Yellowtail Snapper continue be there in good numbers as long as there is current.
