On a recent trip in Clearwater we had Snook up to 38 inches and some overslot redfish as well. The trout bite is still consistent in the Dunedin area.
Snook are definitely on the move and getting ready to begin their seasonal spawn. Brought a huge snook to the boat and about 5 smaller males were following this big girl right to the boat. Hopefully the winds stay calm unlike last summer.
May should turn out to be a great month of fishing in our area. Looking forward to seeing some Tarpon come to the boat as well soon.
