It is that time of year most of us look forward to. No, not the stiffling hot weather but the snook spawn!

With warming water temperatures the snook make their way out to the beaches and passes for their annual spawning period. To some this means nothing at all, but to others it is the time to catch big monster snook one after the other.

Using large live baits and using the tides to your advantage large amounts of big heavy snook can be caught. Eventhough the season is closed until September, you can still get out there and feel the drag screaming force of these fish.

Fish any beach or pass which has a lot of moving water and the snook will be there.
