March 14, 2007 The Salmon are biting on the Columbia now. The best bite has been on herring whole or cut plug. The salmon run was updated this week so we will have a good season. Sturgeon fishing has been good lately on the Willamette & the Columbia rivers. The best bait has been fresh herring if you have it. "Tight Lines"...Larry Page

January 22, 2007 The river's have dropped from the high levels we had a few weeks ago. Steelhead fishing has been good in the local rivers with pulling plugs, drift fishing, sand shrimp, salmon eggs, bobber, & jig's. I look to February to be some great steelheading. The smelt have arrived in the Columbia - not a lot but enough that I got my year's worth. Naturally fresh smelt is the bait of choice. Enjoy Life and Lets Go Fishing. "Tight Lines"...Larry Page
