Ray and Jennifer were on a mission to catch their first dolphin Monday morning. After an hour and a half on the troll with no bites. I was feeling the pressure. Then finally the left long clip comes out. A nice gaffer jumps off. Ouch! Another hour passes….. Then two reels start screaming at the same time, dolphin double on the lines. Jackpot! Ray and Jennifer reel in their first dolphin at the same time in chaotic fashion. For the last couple hours of the morning we swung into the ledge for some bottom fishing and found some nice vermillion snapper and porgies.

A quick rinse of the boat, lunch, re-bait then back out with Adam and Dave. These guys were a blast to fish with. We set up on the ledge a caught a few kings, and kept the rods bent with some jumbo porgies and vermillion snapper. The sharks were stuffing their faces with our bottom fish. We lost a few nice ones to the sharks. After a full day at sea, feeling blessed to do what I love. We have a few openings in March. Visit wwww.gettinluckyfishing.com to get hooked up on a good time. See you on the water.
