Cooler morning are causing a bit of a slow start in the snook bite but as the temperatures rise throughout the day the bite also warms up. Most trips are producing numerous snook to 36 inches with some trout, redfish, mackerel, and flounder mixed in. With a cool front pushing through this week the snook will be less settled into their spring pattern, but by the weekend things should be back to normal.

Kingfish should be in good numbers in the very near future just offshore in the Gulf. Tarpon will be showing up very soon in the passes and bridges. As the water temperatures get a little warmer the snook and redfish will be feeding more aggressively. Spring time offers a variety of fishing experiences. Book a trip soon because the schedule is filling up.
