The action on the St Johns River is UNREAL.The big fish are moving up

to spawn and things are heating up quickly. My client Darrell W from

Indiana had the trip of a lifetime today on the St Johns River catching

over 25 bass weighing up to 9.50 LBS.The fish started biting at daylight

and never stopped all day.It did take 4 dozen shiners to catch 25 bass

as many of these fish were smashing the shiners so hard it was tough

to get a hook into them.Darrell booked this 3 day trip a month ago

and told me all he was after was a fish over 7 pounds to break his

personal record.I would say he got what he was after with this 9.50 Trophy

St Johns River Bass. This fish was released to fight another day and

Darrell will be having a Replica made by Bill Burns Taxidermy.

All fish caught today were on spawning flats just off the main river channel

in less then three ft of water.Wild Shiners were the bait of choice today.

ANOTHER TROPHY FISH WHIPPED WITH A CAMO STIX!!!!!
