Well we were hit with another cold blast late last week and we had

another 26 degree water temp drop with 54 degrees showing on Sunday

morning. If nothing else these FL Bass are getting in shape for winter

water temps a little early. The fishing has been on and off the past week.

Artificial fishing picked up today with 7 fish being caught early then it was time

to pitch some BIG WILD SHINERS around floating grass mats in the main river.

The shiner bite was much slower today then yesterday but my client Mike

from Texas set the hook on the fish he came looking for here in Florida.

You can tell by the picture of this Monster Florida Largemouth Bass that

it is getting close to spawning time.As the water temps begin to stay

steady we will see more of a steady bite on both artificial and wild shiners.

I am running my Jan special again this year.Book three full days in a row and

get a $150 discount. Regular price would be $1050.00 but the Jan special

brings the price down to $900.00 cash.

With the full moon being on the 31st of Dec these bass will be on the beds

the first week of Jan here on the St Johns River.Don't miss out on some of

Florida's best Trophy Bass Fishing During The Spawn.Take a look at the

2009 Trophy Page for last Jan and see what Trophy Bass Fishing On The

St Johns River Is All About.
