Its easy, one-handed operation allows the angler to grasp a fish's lower jawbone, lift the fish out of the water, take its weight (up to 60 lb.) and successfully release it with minimal handling and trauma.

All metal parts are stainless steel and all plastic parts are made of black acetal high performance thermoplastic that is used in unlubricated bearing applications.
