DESCRIPTION: This is a very nice handwritten antique billhead, dated October 11, 1904. The bill was sent from E. R. Parker, ?Dealer in Guns, Fishing Tackle, Bicycles, and a General Line of Sportsmen?s Goods,? 321 Spruce Street, Scranton PA. It was sent to Harry Reinhart, Scranton PA (Harry Reinhart was the owner of a large sporting goods store in Scranton PA in the early 1900s). The billhead features two detailed engraved images of a bicycle and a rifle. The bill was $14.49 for various items.

 

CONDITION: This billhead is in excellent overall condition. The paper is strong; printing sharp. The piece has two neatly punched holes at the top center, from where it was originally inserted into a ring binder. It has several light folds from original mailing, and minor age discoloration as would be expected in a piece of this age. Our scan clearly shows the closeup details of the piece. It measures 8 1/2 inches wide by 7 inches high.
