These leaders are custom made by me. This particular leader is 12 inches long. It has a 143 lb.test ball bearing swivel. The clasp is a size 5-300lb. test stringease stay loc. The line of course is 130lb.test fluorocarbon. I tie the ball bearing and the clasp on with a BIG GAME CABLE KNOT. This knot retains 100% of the pound test of the line. If the breaking point of the line is 100lb.so is the knot. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!! MANY KNOTS HAVE A 70 TO 80% POUND TEST STRENGTH OF THE LINE!! After tying the knots I use a double crimp sleeve so there are no loose ends. No adhesives or glue are necessary to insure my knots. I guarantee my leaders.
