Antique Western Electric Solder - Metal Reel 1960 1970 For Sale

This auction is for a 5 lb roll of Kester Solder from the Western Electric Mfg. plant in Winston Salem, N.C.The solder is .045 Diameter and 60/40 alloy.The Reel is metal and a little tarnished from time but the solder seems to be ok.  The Roll is full with it's original paper jacket and weighs 5 lbs.  This solder was used in manufacturing of Audio, Telephone, and related projects in the 1960's - 1970's. Many collectors like the Nassau solder which was used during the same period and manufactured by the WE company. However, The Kester brand was much better quality and preferred by the workers on the job. The factory closed in the 1980's The Western Electric Plant no longer exists but the solder has survived well!Shipping Costs in US is $10.00I will ship this item Internationally and combine items for lower shipping cost.  Priority Mail is $55.00 and 2 items can be shipped for the same $55.00 cost.
