Chas Addams Nightcrawlers HC 2nd Printing w Inscription For Sale

1957 2nd printing of Nightcrawlers by Chas Addams. Published by Simon & Schuster. Good to very good condition. No Jacket. Spine and corner wear .On the fly page opposite the title page is an inscription which reads:"If things go from bad to worse -If those manuscripts pile up -There is always a way out!( See p.p. 18, 26, and 59)Merry Xmas 1957"SignatureI was unable to identify the signature so I contacted the Chas Addams Foundation. A rep contacted me and agreed that the signature was not that of Addams. He also agreed that it was probably someone from the editing or publishing industry. I will include the correspondence.Interesting item for the Addams Family collector.
