My friend ran this engine for 2 years in his new pontoon before it spun a bearing. We took it apart and checked over all the parts and found that it spun a rod bearing. We had the crank welded and taken back to standard on the rod that spun. We bought a new bearing and rod. The engine had minimal hours on it and is like new. Please call Chris at 313-363-6915. The engine is like new and not abused. We think that the bearing was defective and thats why if failed.
