ICOM IC-25A FM 2 METER TRANSCEIVER For Sale

Up for auction is a used 2 meter transceiver in working condition with a transmit problem. The factory specifications say this is a 25 watt transceiver, but my MFJ power meter is only showing 12 watts. Maybe a power control problem in radio??? I have used the unit mobile with a gain antenna and have had no problem talking into the local repeaters in my area. The radio has some scratches and scuffs typical of normal wear in mobile operation. The HM-8 DTMF microphone has a small chip in the plastic on left front face of microphone. Radio will store up to 5 frequencies provided the memory power lead has always got 12 volts. Radio will scan stored frequencies or entire 2 meter band, has buttons for reversing repeater pair, duplex (repeater) or simplex operation, and plus or minus repeater offset. There is no tone board or encoder installed in this radio. Radio comes with microphone and DC power cable. Sale to the highest bidder is final.
