Icom IC-756 HF/50 MHz All Mode Transceiver FL-223 9 MHz Narrow SSB Filter Installed Original Owner, Excellent Condition

I'm the original owner of this Icom IC-756 amateur radio transceiver. This is the original version of the '756, not one of the subsequent PRO-series versions. I purchased this unit from Texas Towers in October 1997. Its serial number is 002741.

The IC-756 covers all of the ham bands between 1.8-50 MHz, except for 60m. Output is adjustable up to 100w, except 40w on AM mode. The rig requires a 13.8 VDC source for power (not included).

I have installed an FL-223 9 MHz SSB Narrow Filter in the unit for improved selectivity in SSB mode.

All original accessories are included. These are: DC power cord Hand microphone Spare fuses CW keyer plug Manual Schematics Also included is an ARRL Laboratory Expanded Test Report of the unit

The unit is in excellent, fully functional condition and has been kept in a non-smoking household. The display screen is fine and has no lines or other artifacts. The rig will be shipped in its original box with a second outer box for additional protection in transit. ?

I prefer to ship via FedEx ground, which is generally cheaper than the quoted UPS ground rate. I will provide an exact shipping quote with the invoice, but - at worst - it will be no more expensive than the eBay-provided quote. Shipping cost includes insurance.
