The reel seat is graphite so you don't miss those soft strikes, and the Aeroglass rod will snap the hook deep. This is one of our favorite rods to use in our combos. They seem to fit well with any spinning reel we have tried them with. With a pair in different sizes, you can create your own specialty rigs, one for flipping light lures, and one to horse the fish in when it nails that worm.
